Smell the savory aroma of oak and hickory. Taste BBQ from leading pitmasters that’s been expertly paired with bourbon, scotch, and whiskey. Hear the foot-stomping sounds of top regional bands. Join us at some of our favorite local restaurants as their Head Chefs and Master Mixologists prepare multi-courses of exquisite cuisine with perfectly paired bourbon and whiskey cocktails! Pairing dinners fall within the few days before Smoke & Barrel itself, there is a Women of Whiskey Luncheon on Friday, and a Smokin Brunch to end your Smoke & Barrel Weekend! In the weeks leading up to Smoke & Barrel, restaurants and bars all over the city will be participating in the Crown Royale Cocktail Contest! The mixologist at each has created a craft cocktail with the only required ingredient being a select bourbon, chosen by our spirits sponsor! 6 weeks, 10+ locations, several different cocktails, and only 1 will be crowned PEOPLE’S CHOICE! You can cast your vote for your favorite via the QR codes found at each location. Stay tuned for our cocktail exploration as we make our way around and tell your friends so you can start planning your 6 week bar crawl!
